Gas cylinder fire engulfs vehicles near Ahmedabad’s ISKCON crossroads

A fire broke out near ISKCON crossroads on Wednesday after an LPG gas cylinder suddenly caught fire, rapidly spreading to nearby vehicles and causing panic in the busy area.

The blaze erupted in the parking lot opposite Wide Angle, where a scooter (Activa), a motorcycle, and the LPG cylinder initially ignited. Within moments, the flames engulfed several parked two-wheelers to ashes. 

Two fire teams from Prahladnagar, deploying four vehicles, swiftly reached the spot and brought the fire under control through continuous water spraying. Fire officials confirmed that the incident resulted in no casualties.

Preliminary investigations suggest the fire originated from the gas cylinder, though the exact cause is yet to be determined.
