Gandhinagar SOG police constable ends life at native place, probe on

A police constable serving with the Gandhinagar Special Operations Group (SOG) has allegedly died by suicide.

According to the information, Narendrasinh Ishwarsinh Chavda, who was posted as a Police Constable with Gandhinagar SOG, allegedly died by suicide late Sunday night at his native place under unknown circumstances. 

Upon being informed, local police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter. 

The reason behind this step is still unclear. It is not yet known under what situation Narendrasinh took this extreme step.

Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact reason behind the suicide.
