Four IAS officers appointed in Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar after Air India plane crash

The Gujarat Administrative Department (GAD) has appointed four IAS officers with immediate effect to Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, under the supervision of Dhananjay Dwivedi, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department.

IAS officers include:

Nitin Sangwan, Director, Employment and Training, Gandhinagar

Harshit Gosavi, Joint Secretary (Law and Order), Home Department, Secretariat, Gandhinagar

Arvind V, Managing Director, Gujarat Informatics Ltd (GIL), Gandhinagar

Dr Prashant Jilova, Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Ahmedabad

"The aforementioned officers shall report with immediate effect at Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, under the guidance of Dhananjay Dwivedi, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, and shall discharge their duties accordingly. These orders are to be implemented immediately," read the statement.

Other officials appointed

The services of 16 officers of Gujarat Administrative Service (Junior Scale) Class-1 and 16 officers of Mamlatdar, Class-2 are being allocated to the Relief Division, Revenue Department with immediate effect until further orders.
