Four Gujarat-cadre IAS officers appointed as Joint Secretaries in Central Government

The General Administration Department of the Gujarat Government, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), Government of India, has approved the appointment of four Gujarat-cadre IAS officers to the post of Joint Secretary at the Centre. These officers will serve for a period of five years.
The appointed officers are as follows:
Manisha Chandra (IAS, Batch 2004)
Currently serving as Secretary, Panchayat, Rural Housing, and Rural Development Department in Gujarat, she has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Defence Production, New Delhi.
K K Nirala (IAS, Batch 2005)
Serving as Secretary in the Expenditure Division of the Finance Department, Gujarat, Nirala has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, New Delhi.
Saidingpuii Chhakchhuak (IAS, Batch 2008)
Currently Managing Director of the Gujarat Tourism Corporation, she has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the National Human Rights Commission under the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.
Supreet Singh Gulati (IAS, Batch 2008)
Currently serving as CEO of the Development Support Agency of Gujarat (DSAG), he has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, New Delhi.
These appointments have been approved by Kamal Dayani, Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat.
