A group of unknown individuals attacked former BJP chief of Bhanvad and his son on Sunday night in Devbhumi Dwarka.

According to reports, Bhanvad city’s BJP former chief, Ram Odedara, and his son, Anil Odedara, were physically assaulted by unknown individuals using pipes, swords, and bats.

The father-son duo sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital in Jamnagar for treatment.

Notably, the incident has caused significant uproar in the region, especially amid the upcoming Bhanvad Municipality elections. 

The police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations.
