Fire breaks out in private Vadodara firm due to short circuit, major incident averted

A fire broke out at Padmadhara Structure Private Limited Company located in Raman Gamdi GIDC near Por in Vadodara district on Wednesday. According to initial reports, the fire was caused by a short circuit in an electric line. The Karjan Fire Department quickly responded to the emergency and brought the fire under control, preventing a major accident.
After receiving the information, the Karjan Fire Department team rushed to the spot with firefighting vehicles and equipment. Firefighters immediately started rescue and firefighting operations. Using water jets and other firefighting tools, they managed to control the flames within a short time and stopped the fire from spreading to other parts of the industrial unit.
Fire department personnel also shifted burnt and combustible materials to a safer location to prevent the possibility of another fire. Their prompt action helped protect nearby machinery, equipment, and other company property from serious damage. Officials said the situation was brought under control before it could turn into a major disaster.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the fire was triggered by a short circuit in the electric line. However, officials from the concerned department have started a detailed investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident and assess the extent of the damage.
