Fire breaks out at snack factory near Kalupur bridge in Ahmedabad

A massive fire broke out in a snack factory near Kalupur Bridge in Ahmedabad late last night that led a large contingent of fire personnel to the spot.

A major fire incident occurred in a factory located near Kalupur Bridge, opposite the Shaherkotda police station.

As soon as the incident was reported, a large contingent of fire brigade personnel reached the spot.

Fire brigade's mega operation

Given the severity of the fire, immediate help was called from different fire stations in the city. The following vehicles and officers were used to assist. 

Gomtipur: Mini Fighter and Bowser.

Panchkuva: Mini Fighter.

Naroda: 2 Gajraj (water tanker).

Maninagar: STO and SO officers with 1 Gajraj.

Thaltej: Work is ongoing under the guidance of DO Baria Saheb.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far, but it is feared that a large quantity of goods in the factory has been burnt to ashes. The primary cause of the fire is not yet known.
