Fire breaks out at papad factory on Changodar Highway near Ahmedabad, three fire tenders rushed to spot

A panic erupted after a sudden blaze broke out at a papad manufacturing factory located along the Changodar-Sarkhej-Bavla Highway near Ahmedabad on Saturday.

According to reports, a major fire erupted at the unit of Amrita Papad Product Pvt Ltd on the Changodar Highway. Workers inside the factory were thrown into chaos and rushed out to save their lives. The flames were so intense that thick black smoke could be seen from a long distance.

Upon receiving information about the fire, the fire brigade was immediately alerted. Three fire tenders rushed to the spot and firefighters began continuous water spraying to bring the blaze under control. Local police also arrived at the site and helped manage the crowd.

The exact cause of the fire has not been determined yet. Whether it was triggered by a short circuit or due to some other reason is currently being investigated by the police and fire officials.
