Fire breaks out at hotel in Himmatnagar’s Salal area, nearby shops, vehicles damaged

A major fire broke out at Tirupati Hotel in the Salal area of Himmatnagar on Thursday, triggering panic in the locality and causing damage to nearby shops and parked vehicles, officials said.

According to preliminary information, the blaze erupted at the hotel premises and quickly spread to adjoining commercial establishments and vehicles parked nearby before firefighters could bring the situation under control.

Teams from the Salal Fire Brigade and Himmatnagar Fire Brigade rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and launched firefighting operations.

Fire personnel worked for several hours to prevent the flames from spreading further in the densely packed commercial area. Thick smoke engulfed the vicinity, prompting local residents and shopkeepers to move to safety.

Officials said several nearby shops and parked vehicles were partially damaged in the fire. However, no casualties or injuries had been reported at the time of filing this report.
