Fire breaks out at factory in Aslali, Ahmedabad, no casualties reported

A major fire broke out at a factory located opposite Ekta Hotel in the Aslali area on the outskirts of Ahmedabad on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

According to preliminary information, the blaze is suspected to have started in a section of the factory where thinner and other inflammable materials were stored. Thick plumes of smoke were seen billowing from the premises as fire tenders rushed to the spot.

Teams from the Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services, including fire engines from Gajaraj and Fafa stations, were deployed to control the flames. Firefighters continued their efforts to bring the situation under control.

No casualties have been reported so far, and the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Officials said cooling operations are underway and a detailed investigation will follow once the blaze is completely extinguished.
