Fire at Shela residential complex in Ahmedabad, residents evacuated safely

A fire broke out at a residential complex in the Shela area of Ahmedabad early on Thursday morning, triggering panic among residents but resulting in no casualties, officials said.
The incident occurred around 7.30 am at Reverra Elite in Sky City. According to officials, the fire originated on the third floor of the building, leading to thick smoke spreading across the premises.
Residents alerted authorities shortly after noticing the blaze, following which the Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES) mounted a large-scale response. More than 12 fire tenders were deployed at the site to control the situation.
Firefighters used water jets to douse the flames, and the fire was brought under control after sustained efforts. Officials said all residents of the affected building were safely evacuated in time, preventing any injuries or loss of life.
“No casualties have been reported. All occupants were rescued safely,” a senior fire official said.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, and a detailed investigation has been initiated to ascertain what triggered the blaze.
