An incident has come to light in Solsumbha village of Umargam taluka, Valsad district, where a family of three has died by mass suicide, creating shockwaves in the area.

As per  reports, a man, his wife, and their 2-year-old child, who lived in a rented flat, were found dead, leaving the entire locality in mourning.

As soon as the incident was reported, senior police officials, including the DySP (Deputy Superintendent of Police), rushed to the scene along with the Umargam police.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the couple first killed their innocent child before taking their own lives. 

The police have launched a thorough investigation into the matter to determine the reasons behind the family’s tragic decision.

Earlier, a security guard in Ahmedabad killed his wife before dying by suicide, leaving behind his 3-year-old son.

These cases have raised concern in Gujarat related to mental health of the citizens.
