At the time, the party’s state leadership had cited his “anti-party activities” after he shared a picture with Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann on social media.Patel–once expelled from the Congress and has also contested elections independently, most recently resigned from the top leadership of the Congress citing personal reasons–was vitriolic in his comments against the grand old party today.“The Congress is finished. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had invited the Congress to the Ram temple consecration programme in Ayodhya, but they did not go there, so what is the use of staying at such a party….
