Drama at Surat BJP office after worker engages in scuffle with leader

The Bharatiya Janata Party office in Surat was witness to a scuffle and some drama on Wednesday afternoon. 

The clash occurred during a ‘Khel Mahakumbh’ meeting at the Surat BJP office. In the waiting room for BJP workers, Dinesh Savliya, a BJP worker from Ward No 2, argued with a leader over tea and refreshments by raising his voice. 

Treasurer Shailesh Jariwala arrived and warned him not to behave in this manner. However, Dinesh retorted, “Who are you to tell me what to do?” and attacked Shailesh, hitting him and escalating the fight. He even picked up chairs to hit the treasurer.

Meanwhile, Jariwala attempted to defend himself, but other workers and office bearers intervened to control the situation. 

The sudden altercation caused chaos in the office. Leaders present at the meeting, including Amit Rajput and Bhavin Topiwala, intervened and took the chair from Dinesh Savliya’s hands.
