Delivery boy's Activa, parcels worth over ₹1.5 lakh stolen in Vastrapur

In a brazen theft at a Vastrapur apartment complex, a delivery executive’s Honda Activa and 59 customer parcels were stolen on Tuesday afternoon, amounting to over ₹1.64 lakh. The incident was reported at Vastrapur Police Station.
The complainant, Maheshbhai Manubhai, a delivery boy employed with E-Kart Logistics, said he had parked his Activa in the parking lot of B Block of Pravah Apartments in Bodakdev, around 2.30 pm on September 30, 2025. The Activa, valued at approximately ₹45,000, was loaded with 59 parcels of goods belonging to customers. The total value of the parcels was estimated at ₹1.19 lakh.
As per the complaint, two unidentified men, aged between 20 and 25 years, arrived on a motorcycle. One of the men was reportedly wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. The complainant inadvertently left the vehicle key in the Activa. Exploiting the opportunity, the men started the Activa and drove away with both the vehicle and the parcels.
The stolen parcels contained a wide range of items, including smartphones, tablets, earbuds, watches, footwear, clothing, perfumes, and household goods.
Manubhai said he had delivered only 12 out of a total of 72 parcels before the theft. CCTV footage from the apartment confirmed the presence of the two suspects, who were seen fleeing the scene immediately after the robbery.
The complainant filed a Gujarat Citizen Portal report and subsequently approached the Vastrapur Police Station to register an official complaint. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident, classifying it under theft, and are attempting to trace both the stolen Activa and the culprits.
