Upon questioning the family members of the deceased model-fashion designer, Tania Bhavani Singh, no substantial reason behind her unfortunate death was revealed. Following this, the police have shifted their investigation towards her contact details and Internet Protocol Detail Record (IPDR).

The family members denied that the model was going through depression.

Police investigation revealed that Singh was sending messages to cricketer Abhishek Sharma on the social media app Snapchat.

While investigating the suicide case of a Surat-based model, fashion designer, and event manager, Tania Bhavani Singh, police established her connection with Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma. The duo had reportedly broken up a year ago and were engaged in frequent fights, which is suspected to be the cause of her suicide.

Singh, a resident of Surat’s Vesu Road, reportedly ended her life on Feb 19 under mysterious circumstances.

Vesu police showed up at the scene after learning of this incident. They found the dead body still wearing the earpods. Speculations are made over this revelation, as the model could be in conversation with someone in her final moments.

This revelation drew the police towards scrutinising the deceased’s call details and interrogating the people she was in contact with within the last few days.

Singh was found to be having relations with Sunrisers Hyderabad (an Indian Premier League franchise) and Punjab’s all-rounder Sharma over a significant duration. A selfie of the two was also found on Singh’s phone.

However, the duo were reportedly going through a rough patch, having broken up more than a year ago and indulged in frequent fights over the last six months, according to sources.

Sharma was unresponsive to Singh’s text messages or calls and ignored her, which is suspected to have pushed her into a stressful condition.

Police are probing whether this relation is behind the suicide of the model.

Vesu police have issued summons to Sharma for his interrogation.

The police inspector (PI), Vesu police, said, “According to the call details, there has been no recent contact between Tania and Abhishek Sharma. However, because of their friendship, Abhishek is being summoned for questioning.”
