Couple killed in car-bike collision near Pragpar in Kutch

A couple was killed in a road accident involving a car and a motorcycle near Pragpar in Rapar taluka of Kutch, police said.

The victims have been identified as Parasottambhai Gangarambhai Masuria, a resident of Ektanagar in Rapar, and his wife Navalben.

According to police, the couple was travelling on a motorcycle towards Adesar to visit a relative when their vehicle collided with a speeding car. Both died on the spot due to the impact.

On receiving information, Gujarat Police personnel from Rapar reached the scene and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination.

The driver of the car is also reported to have sustained serious injuries in the incident.

A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway, police added.
