Congress to announce remaining LS candidates from Gujarat after Apr 11

Four Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat still await the contesting candidate from Congress, and the regional charge of the party, Mukul Wasnik, announced that the grand old party will soon field the remaining names from the state.
On his visit to Ahmedabad, Wasnik attended the meeting with the regional leaders and discussed the probable candidates for the remaining seats.
The Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) held a series of meetings in the presence of Wasnik, to brainstorm the candidates for the four remaining Lok Sabha seats and five candidates for the bye elections in Gujarat.
For Lok Sabha elections 2024, Congress is yet to announce candidates for the Rajkot, Mehsana, Ahmedabad East, and Navsari seats of Gujarat.
Wasnik, in a conversation with reporters, said the BJP rule has been unjust to the youth, farmers, and women. The farmers and unemployed are forced to take their own lives, as the ruling party failed to meet the promises it made, even after 10 years of rule.
Washnik also said that the BJP has created an atmosphere of anarchy by spreading hate.
If the BJP comes to power again, this may well be the last Lok Sabha election, and therefore, it is the election to save the Constitution, said Washnik.
Commenting on the ongoing Rupala controversy in the state, Washnik said that BJP leaders have been giving irresponsible statements time and again.
