Congress claims compulsory teacher attendance to avoid empty chairs at PM Modi’s Nikol event

Serious allegations have been made by Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson Hemang Raval regarding the compulsory attendance of teachers for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting to be held in Ahmedabad on August 25.
He has claimed that the attendance of at least ten teachers from each school has been made compulsory and for this, meetings are being held by the education department officials. Based on the WhatsApp message and instructions given to the school principals, arrangements have also been made for the teachers to be present at the designated place and taken to the meeting venue by AMTS bus.
A message has been sent that at least ten teachers per school in Ahmedabad must attend the meeting for PM Modi's meeting on the upcoming 25th. The school principal has also been told that if more than 10 teachers want to come, then even if the school has to take a complete leave, permission is given to grant leave.
According to the Congress spokesperson's allegations, efforts are being made to hold the meeting through various means. The principal has also been told that no teachers will go directly to the meeting but will first have to reach the designated place and from there they will have to take a count in the AMTS bus and attend the meeting.
In Gujarat, teachers were sent to chase away locusts, were sent to count dead bodies in Corona, and were made to organize the entrance ceremony at their own expense. Till then, it was okay, but now, to show their power, teachers are being used to fill empty chairs in PM's event and students' education is being neglected. This is a very serious matter.
According to a message posted in a WhatsApp group of teachers, “All Principals, as the Honorable Prime Minister has a program at Nikol on the 25th, the staff information of the teachers of your school will have to be filled in, in which they will have to be present at the specified place on time. All Principals, please inform your school teachers that buses have been made available at IP Mission School at 2.30 pm for the program of the Honorable Prime Minister on 25/8/2025. Therefore, all Principals, teachers of your school have to go by bus, and not attend the rally directly. They will have to come by bus on time. Please take this into consideration.”
