Four Ahmedabad students clinch All India Rank in CS exams

Instead of 25 in each, only 10 AIR in CS professional and 12 AIR in CSEET were declared

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) declared the results for company secretaries (CS) professional and executive examinations on Aug 25.

Four students from Ahmedabad have secured the All India Ranking (AIR) top ten in both the CS executive entrance test (CSEET) and CS professionals. While only three from Vadodara have managed to obtain a CS degree.

Under par results in CS exams this year

The results for the CSEET and CS professional examinations were declared on Aug 25. The CS exams were conducted in June this year by the ICSI.

The results on all India levels, as well as Ahmedabad, have overall been significantly below par.

Ahmedabad students manage high AIR in CS exams

Four candidates from Ahmedabad have marked their presence in this year’s CS examinations.

In CS professionals, Jenny Panchmatia has secured an AIR 2 with a score of 541 and 60.11%.

While three other Ahmedabad candidates, Rohan Panjwani (AIR 3) with a score of 476 and 59.5%, Sahil Patel (AIR 6) with a score of 459 and 57.38%, and Ashlesha Prajapati (AIR 10) with a score of 445 and 55.63%, secured spots in the AIR top-ten in the CSEET.

Moreover, three students from Vadodara, Faiza Patel, Krunal Patel, and Mufaddal Dalal, have availed CS Degrees.

The results of the CS professional exams are:

All-India Level:

Module 1 - 9.07%

Module 2 - 7.86%

Module 3 - 13.11%

Ahmedabad Centre:

Module 1 - 7.04%

Module 2 - 9.52%

Module 3 - 12.60%

The results of CSEET are:

All India level:

Module 1 - 5.85%

Module 2 - 13.05%

Ahmedabad centre:

Module 1 - 12.08%

Module 2 - 15.56%

The state of inadequacy in the results was such that more than 55% of the appearing candidates secured rankings.

Despite this, only 12 AIR instead of 25 have been declared in CSEET, while a mere 10 AIR were declared in CS professionals instead of 25.
