CM Bhupendra Patel furious at protest during his speech, says ‘you’ve come with a specific agenda’

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s speech at an official event in Vadodara today was interrupted when two women stood up mid-programme to protest over the Harni boat tragedy and housing concerns.
The incident occurred during a public function at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, where the CM was inaugurating and laying foundation stones for development works worth ₹1,156 crore.
In response, the Chief Minister appeared frustrated and said, “You’ve come with a specific agenda, madam. Please sit down and meet me calmly afterwards.” Reports say the husbands of both women were later detained for questioning.
Police officers present at the venue attempted to calm the women, identified as Sandhya Nizama and Sarla Shinde, but they continued their protest, insisting they had been trying to meet the CM for the past one and a half years without success.
As the disruption continued, Patel asked the audience to ignore them, repeating that they had come with an agenda. The audience later began chanting slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai”.
After the CM concluded his speech, the women stood again and continued their protest. Security personnel reportedly removed them from the venue, covering their mouths in the process.
As per reports, the Chief Minister later invited them for a meeting.
