CM Bhupendra Patel celebrated Independence Day 2023 in Valsad
CM gifted ₹138 cr development works to Valsad

The state-level Independence Day was celebrated in Valsad with the chief minister Bhupendra Patel hoisting the National flag.
The governor of Gujarat, Acharya Devvrat was also present at this event.
Earlier, CM Patel wished a happy Independence Day on the social media platform.
CM gifted ₹138 cr development works to Valsad
The CM has gifted development works worth nearly ₹138 cr to Valsad. He launched projects worth ₹100 cr through e-khata murat and e-launched projects worth ₹37.80 cr. He launched a government library or reading centre, constructed at a cost of ₹1.44 cr where one hundred people could read together.
A police parade, a police force demonstration, and various cultural activities were held today. Around 1500 police personnel were invited from other states.

Valsad welcomed the Parsis from Iran: CM Bhupendra Patel
In his speech , CM Patel said that Valsad is the land that welcomed Parsis from Iran. These Parsis also made an invaluable contribution to the freedom struggle.
He further said that under the Mari Mati Abhiyan, soil from two and a half lakh villages in the country will be brought to Delhi, and Amrit Vatika will be constructed near the memorial of the martyrs there.
Development of tribals in Gujarat
He also stated that among the five pillars of Gujarat’s development, ‘Vanabandhu Kalyan Yojana’ has been implemented to provide quality education to tribal children and the development of tribals. Following the success of this scheme, Vanabandhu Kalyan-2 Yojana has been implemented. Under which the state government has planned to spend ₹1 lakh cr in the next five years.
