Car rams two-wheelers on Thakkarnagar bridge in Ahmedabad, 1 dead, 2 injured

A tragic accident on the Thakkarnagar bridge on Thursday morning left one youth dead and two others injured after a car rammed into a motorcycle and an Activa scooter, police said.

The incident occurred when the car, bearing registration number (GJ04 EE8071), collided with the two-wheeler riders. One of the victims, a young man, succumbed to his injuries at the spot, while the other two sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police reached the scene promptly, registered a case, and launched a search for the driver based on the vehicle’s registration number. The matter is under investigation.

Traffic authorities have urged motorists to drive cautiously, especially in areas prone to accidents, and have appealed to witnesses to come forward with any information regarding the incident.
