Car gutted after sudden fire in Juhapura parking, no casualties reported

A parked Swift car was completely gutted after it suddenly caught fire near Gate No. 2 of Royal Park Society in Juhapura on Wednesday afternoon. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.

According to officials, the fire broke out while the vehicle was parked in the society’s parking area. The car owner immediately alerted the Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Brigade, which rushed to the spot and doused the flames. However, by the time the fire was brought under control, the vehicle had been completely reduced to ashes.

Preliminary reports suggest that the blaze might have been triggered by an electrical short circuit, though the Fire Department has begun an investigation to determine the exact cause.

Residents gathered at the site as thick smoke billowed from the car, causing brief panic in the area. Fire officials said the timely alert from the car owner prevented the fire from spreading to nearby vehicles and property.
