Car driver hits two Activa riders in Gandhinagar, driver arrested

A car driver rammed into two Activa riders near GH circle in Infocity, Gandhinagar on late on Sunday night.

According to reports, the car driver, who was driving on the wrong side of the road, hit the two Activa riders, leaving them injured. The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.

After causing the accident, the car driver initially fled the scene but later turned herself in at the Infocity police station late Sunday night. The police have arrested the woman driver, identified as Jyoti Rai, and initiated legal proceedings against her.

It is worth noting that several accidents have previously occurred near GH Circle in Gandhinagar. This latest incident once again highlights the urgent need to enforce traffic rules and curb reckless driving in the area. The Infocity police are investigating the case further.
