Tension erupted at the Little Bird School exam centre in Isanpur on Saturday during the Junior Clerk (Class-3) recruitment exam conducted by Gujarat’s four agricultural universities of Anand, Junagadh, Navsari and Sardarkrushinagar-Dahod.

According to candidates, the exam was marred by serious irregularities, including allegations of a paper leak and violation of examination rules. Many claimed that the OMR sheets and question papers were distributed much later than the scheduled time.

One candidate said, “We were supposed to receive the OMR sheet between 1.30 pm and 1.45 pm, but we were given it only at 2.05 pm.”

Another candidate alleged, “Instead of opening the sealed bundle inside the classroom, the supervisors were walking around with open papers. When we asked for our papers, they said there weren’t enough to distribute.”

Angered by the delay and suspected misconduct, candidates staged a protest inside the exam centre, shouting slogans and demanding that the exam be cancelled. The situation created a tense atmosphere at the venue.

Candidates have called for an immediate investigation and justice, but so far, officials of the agricultural universities have not issued any formal statement regarding the allegations.

Reacting to Gujarat Samachar Digital’s report on social media, Ahmedabad Police stated, “During today’s Junior Clerk examination for the State Agricultural University at Little Bird School (Narol), commotion arose after candidates alleged a shortage of OMR sheets. Acting on these complaints, university officials have ordered an immediate inquiry, and candidates have been informed about the situation at the school."
