BSF nabs suspected Pakistani national crossing Indo-Pak border from Gujarat’s Patan

A suspicious Pakistani national was caught by the Border Security Force (BSF) while crossing the India-Pakistan international border near Santlalpur taluka in Patan district on Monday morning.
The BSF jawans were on patrol along the Indo-Pak border when they noticed a suspicious person near Santalpur. During initial questioning, the individual revealed that he was a Pakistani citizen.
The BSF identified him as Mohammad Nawaz, son of Abdul Majid alias Maja (age 49, resident of village Besidhwani, Chiniot, Pakistan). He was apprehended near Pillar No 981/1G, about 50 km from Santlalpur, under the jurisdiction of Parwana OP Police Station.
Following the arrest, senior officials including the DySP, SOG, and IB rushed to Santlalpur. Nawaz is now under detailed interrogation.
