Major fire engulfs high-rise commercial building in Vadodara, no casualties reported

A major fire broke out in a multi-storey commercial building in the Gotri area of Vadodara on Tuesday, engulfing the structure and triggering panic in the vicinity.
The blaze erupted at a building identified as ISKCON Heights and rapidly spread through the 10-storey premises. Thick plumes of black smoke were seen billowing from the building and were visible from a considerable distance.
Fire officials said no casualties have been reported so far.
A ‘major call’ was issued by the Vadodara Fire Brigade following the incident, prompting deployment of multiple firefighting teams. Units from Bhayli, Dandiya Bazar, and Wadiwadi fire stations rushed to the spot with several fire tenders.
Firefighters initiated operations to bring the blaze under control, using specialised equipment including hydraulic platforms to tackle the flames in the high-rise structure.
