YouTuber booked for extortion threats to Sarkhej Roza Committee

A complaint has been filed with Sarkhej police against a YouTuber for threatening to defame the members of the Sarkhej Roza Committee on social media and demanding a monthly payment of ₹1 lakh.

Juhapura resident Dilawarhussain Saiyed, who works as a legal advisor for the Sarkhej Roza Committee, had filed the complaint against the YouTuber. The committee had rented out its office near the Roza graveyard to Mohammad Rabbani Saiyed for social work. However, as he had not paid rent for several months, the committee asked him to vacate the office.

Subsequently, Saiyed, claiming to be a journalist and social worker, began provoking people against the Sarkhej Roza Committee through YouTube, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Later, he visited the committee’s office, issued threats, and demanded ₹1 lakh, warning that if the money was not paid, he would defame the committee in every possible way.
