BJP Veteran Jawahar Chavda Backs Youth on Paper Leak, Unemployment; Seeks Meeting With CM

Amid mounting anger over government recruitment, repeated paper leak incidents and rising unemployment, senior BJP leader and former Gujarat Cabinet minister Jawahar Chavda has publicly backed agitating students and job aspirants, urging the state government to address their concerns without delay.

In an open letter addressed to the people of Gujarat, Chavda said he had spent the past year interacting with young people and had witnessed first-hand the frustration caused by unemployment, shortcomings in the education system and recurring paper leak cases.

'Students are silently enduring injustice'

In his letter, Chavda said students in Mahatma Gandhi's Gujarat have repeatedly endured injustice in silence, warning that the growing resentment among the youth should be viewed as a serious concern for the BJP government.

He said the issues affecting students and job aspirants could no longer be ignored and required immediate attention.

Former minister seeks meeting with Chief Minister

Despite being a senior leader of the ruling BJP, Chavda has sought an appointment with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to present the concerns of students and unemployed youth.

He urged the government to engage with the issue and work towards restoring confidence among young people preparing for government jobs.

Calls for citizens to unite beyond politics

Appealing to parents and citizens, Chavda called on people to rise above political affiliations, caste and religious differences and unite for the future of the younger generation.

He said the time had come for society to collectively raise its voice to safeguard the interests of students and ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process.

The former minister's public intervention has sparked political discussion in Gujarat, with attention now turning to how the state government and BJP leadership respond to his appeal on behalf of students and job aspirants.
