A body of a woman named Riddhi Suthar was found in a canal near Lambhvel in Anand.

Mother of one-and-a-half-year old child, Suthar had a love marriage with Boriavi’s BJP leader Rushin Patel and was a social media influencer.

According to the information received, the body of Suthar was found in the canal passing near Lambhvel early on Friday morning.

Nadiad Rural Police sent the body for postmortem and have conducted further investigation into the matter, and to determine wether her death was a murder or suicide.

Notably, Rushin Patel was recently appointed as the executive chairman of Boriavi Municipality.
