BJP flag flies high in all 9 district panchayats of Gujarat

After the voting for the by-elections held for Junagadh Municipal Corporation, 68 Municipalities, 3 Taluka Panchayats, and 9 district panchayat seats on February 16, the vote counting started on Tuesday.
BJP has emerged victorious in all district panchayats, waving the saffron flag across the board. As the results are gradually being revealed, it is now BJP has won all 9 seats, securing victories in Gandhinagar (Halisar), Bharuch (Achhod), Dahod (Pipero), Dangs (Kadmal), Ahmedabad (Asalali), Ahmedabad (Koth), Botad (Paliyad) among others.
Taluka panchayat and district panchayat By-elections
The process for the Taluka Panchayat and district panchayat by-elections began on February 16. The voter turnout for the 9 district panchayat by-elections was recorded at 43.67%.
On the other hand, the overall voter turnout for the Junagadh Municipal Corporation, 68 Municipalities, and 3 Taluka Panchayats elections was an average of 57%. The highest turnout was recorded at Charvad in the municipality, with a remarkable 76%.
