In Ahmedabad's Shahpur ward, BJP candidates were seen in a society seeking votes, and when the locals and Congress workers confronted them about incomplete work. However, as the concerns were raised, the BJP workers  left the place, chanting slogans of Jai Shri Ram.

As the Amdavad Municipal Corporation elections are gaining momentum, the BJP and Congress candidates who had reached Shahpur Darwaza for campaigning came face to face, and a banter broke out between the two parties.

The locals and the Congress workers tried to hold up a mirror to the BJP candidates who had come to seek votes in their area by showing them the incomplete and pending works of the area.

Instead of answering the tough questions of the people, the BJP candidates walked away shouting slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram'. Seeing the candidates leaving like this, the locals and the Congress candidates later created a huge ruckus by shouting 'Bhagya... Bhagya...'  (they are running away). This incident, which took place amidst the election atmosphere, has become a topic of discussion in the Shahpur area.
