Bhutanese King, PM on a three-day Gujarat visit

The King of Bhutan, HM Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, and Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay are currently on a three-day visit to Gujarat.
The dignitaries landed in Gujarat on July 22 and were welcomed in the state capital by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, which was followed by a grand dinner.
Strengthening trade and cultural ties between Bhutan and Gujarat was the agenda of the conversations during the dinner.

Minister of State for Protocol, Jagdish Vishwakarma, Chief Secretary Raj Kumar, and other senior state government officials also attended the dinner.
CM presented the King with a replica of the renowned Rogan art from Kutch and a traditional Bhujodi shawl.
The guests also paid a visit to the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar.
