Bhachau police nab Kutch constable, bootlegger with liquor-laden car

A team of Bhachau police East Kutch Gandhidham nabbed bootlegger Yuvrajsinh Jadeja and a lady constable Neeta Chaudhary accompanying him under the Prohibition Act.

Acting on a tip, Police Inspector (PI) S D Sisodia, Sub-Inspector D J Zala and a team of Local Crime Branch (LCB) led by Chirag Koradia, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Border Range, Bhuj, and Superintendent of Police (SP) Kutch East ( Gandhidham) Sagar Bagmar, arrested the accused on June 30.

The accused were  on their way from Samakhiali to Gandhidham when they were stopped by the cops. On seeing the cops, the accused tried to ram the vehicle into them. 

They were booked under the Prohibition Act after liquor was found in the vehicle. 

Jadeja is a history-sheeter who is wanted in various crimes, including attempted murder.

Neeta Chaudhary, a constable with the CID branch near Kutch accompanying the accused bootlegger was also arrested.
