Another bomb threat at Gujarat High Court, third within 24 hours in state

Just three days before the Jagannath Rathyatra in Ahmedabad, Gujarat High Court received yet another bomb threat via email on June 24, prompting an immediate security response. Upon receiving the threat, the Sola High Court Police and bomb disposal squad swiftly reached the premises and launched a thorough search operation.
The police department was put on high alert as soon as the threat was detected. Multiple teams, including personnel from the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), cordoned off the area and began a detailed inspection of the court complex.
As of now, no suspicious object has been found. Investigations are underway to trace the origin of the email and identify the sender. Further updates are awaited.
Earlier in the day, Gujarat Refinery English Medium School in Karadiya village of Vadodara received a bomb threat email.
As per the school principal, the email read, “A bomb has been planted in the school which can blast anytime."
The students were evacuated from the school immediately. The bomb squad and dog squad arrived at the scene and began their investigation.
On Monday, Navrachana Higher Secondary School in Vadodara’s Sama area received a bomb threat, again through an email. Following the incident, Sama police, the bomb squad, and senior police officials arrived at the school and began checking the premises.
The same school had also received a bomb threat in January, too.
