But the veterinary doctors and officers have allegedly purchased outdated medical supplies or only 50% of the supplies from the agencies.</p><p style="text-align: left;">Outdated drugs and injections have been found in veterinary hospitals in Gujarat and it was also seen that the dates have also been tampered with, as per the audits. Despite that, the invoices were paid to the suppliers.</p><p style="text-align: left;">The government of Gujarat has allotted crores of funds to different cities in order to give indoor treatment to animals and has acquired machinery including sonography machines, X-ray machines, etc.</p><p style="text-align: left;">Despite the allocation of facilities, most of the veterinary doctors in the cities refuse to admit animals in need of medical attention.
