Anand Niketan school bus mounts divider in Satellite area, no injuries reported

In a narrow escape on Monday morning, a school bus belonging to Anand Niketan Joey's Campus in Ambli met with an accident in Ahmedabad’s Satellite area after the driver allegedly lost control while trying to avoid a two-wheeler.
The bus was on its way to school when a motorcyclist suddenly came in front of the bus. In an attempt to swerve and avoid hitting the biker, the driver lost control of the steering, causing the bus to mount the road divider.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. There were five students on board at the time, all of whom were safely evacuated and shifted to another school bus shortly after the accident.
Police said the impact caused minor damage to the front of the vehicle, but the situation was quickly brought under control.
“Prompt action by the driver ensured that the bus did not overturn or collide with any other vehicle. All children are safe,” a senior police official from Satellite Police Station said.
Authorities have initiated a brief inquiry into the incident to determine whether speed or mechanical failure played any role in the mishap.
