Bhadravi Purnima fair at the renowned pilgrimage site of Ambaji in Gujarat commenced today, September 12. The fair, which is expected to attract approximately 30 lakh devotees, will continue until September 18.
The Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust and the Banaskantha district administration have collaborated to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for pilgrims. A wide range of facilities have been put in place, including free meals and security measures.
To enhance the convenience for the pilgrims, QR codes have been implemented. By scanning the QR code, devotees can access real-time information about available facilities and their locations.
To provide shelter and basic amenities, four water-proof domes have been constructed at various locations within the fairgrounds. These domes are equipped with approximately 1,200 beds each, along with a multi-purpose hall, toilets, CCTV cameras, mobile charging stations, housekeeping services, signage, carpeting, drinking water, electrification, fire extinguishers, and luggage storage.
The temple trust has also made extensive arrangements for the fair, including mandaps, sound systems, public announcement systems, prasad distribution centers, a CCTV control room, a footwear center, electrical street lights, plasma TVs, an AR/VR system, and ample parking facilities.
A vast parking area has been allocated to accommodate the vehicles of pilgrims.
With meticulous planning and comprehensive facilities, the organisers aim to create a comfortable and memorable experience for all visitors to the Bhadravi Purnima fair in Ambaji.
