Ahmedabad to get development works worth over ₹3,000 cr

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, union home minister Amit Shah virtually inaugurated development works worth over ₹3,102 cr in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad today.
The city will get ₹17.55 cr worth three-layer flyover underpass at the Mumatpura junction and development works worth ₹3,012 cr in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad East and West Lok Sabha constituencies.
The length of the underpass is 266.75 metres, and it is 16.80 metres wide, with service roads along both sides.
Traffic woes in the western suburbs surrounding the Mumatpura area on the SG Highway are likely to come to an end now.
The foundation stone has been laid for the construction of a railway underbridge at a cost of ₹34.61 cr on the Chandlodiya-Khodiyaar Nagar railway line on Sardar Patel Ring Road (SP Ring Road) in the presence of the chief minister, Bhupendra Patel.
Furthermore, 1,800 Low-Income Group (LIG) houses in Gota, Thaltej, and Hebatpur areas will have been inaugurated.
Chandola Lake development work worth ₹367.42 cr has been inaugurated.
