Ahmedabad sees second fatal crash in 24 hours, 25-year-old dies in high-speed crash

Ahmedabad reported another serious road accident within 24 hours, when a 25-year-old motorcyclist crashed into a BRTS railing on Monday night.

Parth Kalal, a resident of Vejalpur, was riding his BMW bike from Andhjan Mandal towards Helmet Circle when the accident occurred near the GMDC ground. The impact of the collision caused severe injuries, leading to his death on the spot.

Traffic police arrived soon after and began an investigation. CCTV footage from the area is being examined to determine the exact cause of the crash.

Earlier on Monday morning, another fatal accident was reported near Chharodi, where a 21-year-old Gandhinagar resident died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near Nirma University.

Both incidents have raised concerns over increasing road accidents in the city.
