Ahmedabad Police HQ marks 77th Republic Day with flag-hoisting ceremony

The Ahmedabad Police on Monday organised a flag-hoisting ceremony to mark the 77th Republic Day, with senior police officials and personnel in attendance at the Shahibaug Headquarters.

The programme began with the hoisting of the national flag by Ahmedabad Police Commissioner G S Malik, followed by the rendition of the national anthem. A ceremonial parade by police contingents was also held as part of the celebrations, showcasing discipline and drill.

Senior officers of the city police, along with a large number of personnel from various units, were present at the event. Officials said the ceremony was organised to honour the Constitution and reaffirm the commitment of the police force to uphold law, order and constitutional values.
