Ahmedabad Metro route extension to Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar commences

Ahmedabad Metro services to Mahatma Mandir commenced at 6.58 am today from APMC and reached Mahatma Mandir at 8.16 am, according to official information.
The last train to leave APMC for Mahatma Mandir is at 7.08 pm.
The first train halts at Old High Court at 7.12 am, then Motera Stadium at 7.30 am, Koteshwar Stadium at 7.33 am, GNLU at 7.48 am, Infocity 7.57 am, and Secretariat at 8.05 am, before reaching Mahatma Mandir at 8.16 am.
On the APMC–GIFT City corridor, the first metro starts at 6.45 am, while the last train leaves at 6.20 pm.
On its return journey, the first metro from Mahatma Mandir departs at 8 am. It will reach the Secretariat at 8.12 am, Infocity at 8.19 am, GNLU 8.30 am, Koteshwar Road 8.46 am, Motera Stadium 8.49 am, Old High Court at 9.07 am, and finally APMC at 9.21 am.
Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited had announced the extension of the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Metro route, with addition of seven new stations for commuters in April 2025.
The metro train service was extended from Motera station to Secretariat in Gandhinagar back then. Along with this, seven new stations were added.
