The flights between Ahmedabad and Delhi have seen a steep rise in their prices as the demand goes up during the festivities of Diwali.

As the airfare from Ahmedabad to Delhi for a one-way ticket has increased by up to 5 times to ₹21,000, from the usual ₹4,000. The prices, however, go as high as ₹41,000.

This price surge is often seen as airlines block the tickets ahead of festive seasons. They release these tickets closer to the holidays, resulting in higher fares for passengers.

Interestingly, the price for a one-way ticket from Ahmedabad to Dubai was noted at only ₹13,340, at least ₹8,000 cheaper than Ahmedabad-Delhi sector.

Not only Delhi, the tickets for Ahmedabad to Chennai have skyrocketed to ₹19,398, Ahmedabad to Kolkata at ₹17,318.
