Ahmedabad biker critically injured in crash during stunt on Vaishnodevi Bridge

A late-night stunt attempt by a group of young bikers ended in a serious accident on the Vaishnodevi Bridge in Ahmedabad, when a high-speed sports bike rammed into the rear of a car.
According to eyewitnesses and preliminary police inputs, over eight bikers were seen riding sports bikes at high speed, some allegedly attempting stunts on the stretch. One of the bikers, whose speed is estimated to have crossed 100 kmph, lost control and collided with a car ahead of him.
The rider sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital, where his condition remains critical. The impact of the collision left the sports bike mangled, while the car’s rear was badly damaged.
Police said the incident came to light after a video of the accident went viral on social media, sparking concerns over rash driving and stunt biking on city roads.
Officials added that the bikers had allegedly gathered for a late-night ride, and investigations are underway to identify the other riders present at the scene.
“We are verifying CCTV footage and viral videos to ascertain the sequence of events and establish responsibility. Action will be taken against those found violating traffic rules,” a senior traffic police officer said.
