Ahmedabad airport receives another bomb threat email, turns out to be hoax

Yet another bomb threat email was received by the Ahmedabad airport authorities on Monday. Earlier, on June 29, a similar hoax threat email was received, and within just nine days, the airport authorities have received another such threat.
According to information, the threat was received on the official email ID of Ahmedabad International Airport. The email mentioned that an IED bomb was hidden in the bathroom pipeline.
Following the receipt of the email, a search operation was initiated across the entire airport by the bomb squad and police, but no explosive was found.
A similar hoax email was received on June 29, in which it was mentioned that a powerful IED explosive had been hidden inside a backpack. At that time as well, airport security and police had conducted a thorough check, but no explosives were found.
On Monday one more bomb threat was received at Veraval court.
The threat, addressed to District Judge Vikram Singh Gohil, claimed that a bomb had been planted on the court premises.
In response, security agencies swung into action, evacuating the building and launching a thorough search operation. Soon after the judge received the email, local police and bomb disposal squads, along with a dog squad, were rushed to the scene.
The bomb squad conducted an extensive sweep of the premises but found no explosive devices or suspicious materials. However, the threat caused a considerable commotion and disrupted court proceedings for the day.
