Gujarat may once again experience unseasonal showers during the Diwali festival. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall in several parts of Saurashtra and South Gujarat between October 16 and 20.
On October 16, districts including Dang, Tapi, Navsari, and Valsad are likely to see light rain. From October 17 to 20, showers may extend to Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, and Valsad. The forecast has raised concerns that festive celebrations could be dampened across the state.
