Additional charges allotted as four IAS officers leave for training in Mussoorie

Four IAS officers from Gujarat have gone to Mussoorie for training and their posts have been handed over to other officers. The government has also assigned additional charges over the additional charge, effectively assigning two important departments to three officers.

As the four officers are going for a mandatory mid-career training program at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie from April 8-26, other officers will hold additional charge during their absence.

The charge of Anju Sharma as the additional chief secretary of the labour and skill department was handed over to the labour commissioner Anupam Anand, as per the order of the general administration department, the government of Gujarat.

Anand will also hold the additional charge as the director general of Mahatma Gandhi Shram Sansthan.

The charge of the panchayat department’s principal secretary Mona Khandhar has been assigned to village development commissioner Manisha Chandra.

Khandhar’s additional charge of science, technology, and revenue inspection commissioner was assigned to Manoj Kumar Das, additional chief secretary of the revenue department.

The additional charge of principal secretary Mamta Verma was handed over to the additional chief secretary of the finance department, JP Gupta.

The additional charge for higher and technical education was assigned to the additional chief secretary of the industries department, SJ Haider, and the charge for primary and secondary education was assigned to the principal secretary of the tourism department, Harit Shukla.
