For many cricket enthusiasts the experience at the Narendra Modi stadium was not exactly a happy one despite India having won the epic match against Pakistan on Oct 14. 

The reason? More than 100 individuals, along with actor Urvashi Rautela lost or had their phones or wallets stolen during the match. 

Rautela also took to social media to report the loss of her 24-carat gold iPhone at the stadium.

Taking to social media platform X, she shared the police complaint and said, “Lost my 24-carat real gold iPhone at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad! If anyone comes across it, please help. Contact me ASAP!”

As per reports, she lost her mobile phone near gate no 1. Later, she filed a complaint at the Chandkheda police station.

More complaints expected

The officials said that some complaints are yet to be registered as the complainants will file them based on the invoices or other proof for the stolen goods.

So far, around 55 suspects have been detained near Narendra Modi Stadium. With the help of the IMEI (international mobile equipment identification) number, the police have started further investigation.
