6 killed after private bus crushes car on highway in Gujarat’s Himmatnagar
Six people died in a tragic road accident on the Shamlaji-Ahmedabad national highway near Jaswantgarh Patiya, close to Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district. A private bus hit a car from behind at high speed, completely crushing it.
According to reports, the impact was very severe and the car was badly damaged. All six people inside the car died on the spot. Six others were also seriously injured and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. An eyewitness said that the bus was moving fast when the driver lost control and crashed into the car ahead. The accident caused panic on the highway, and traffic was blocked for some time.
Local people quickly reached the spot and tried to help the victims. Soon after, police and ambulance teams arrived and started rescue operations. It took time to remove the bodies from the mangled car.
Police have sent the bodies for postmortem and registered a case. An investigation is now underway to find the exact cause of the accident. This incident has once again raised concerns about road safety and careless driving on highways.
